This Monday, Mothers for justice and Equality had the pleasure of meeting with Richard Dening one of Rotary’s student exchange students visiting organizations in Boston that are focused on Restorative justice. Richard, who is originally from Australia shared his story of how he came to Boston and his experience here thus far. He arrived bright and early and we received him with many warm welcomes. We talked with him about the history of violence in the Boston area and how MJE came to be. He sat down with each individual program and department manager to get a better idea of what we do. He loved learning about our programs such as You Matter, healing through the arts, the youth peer leadership program. We had a huge Team Lunch consisting of Dominican Cuisine that we all definitely enjoyed. Please look below to see just how much we enjoyed our Team Lunch.
Thank you so much Richard Dening for joining us, we hope you come back to Boston soon! It was a great joy to have you in our office.
Thank you from our team at MJE !Share
