This past Wednesday, Mothers for Justice and Equality introduced a different approach to our usual Wednesday mornings. On May 16th we invited Victor Santana from Boston Public Health Commission to join us in teaching our participants about how to manage stress.
Victor went above and beyond teaching women how self-care is important. He taught them techniques they can take in their own personal lives to destress and take control instead of letting stress control them. Victor discussed ways to heal, and what the road to recovery would attain. Most of all he coached the women and men how to take control of your life your health and most of all how to heal from the pain, how to get up from the struggle how to live once again.
