Through this work, MJE assists victims to understand the dynamics of victimization, helps stabilize their lives in the aftermath of violence, and serves as a liaison to law enforcement, the courts, Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), housing, and other service providers.

This program is funded through a two-year contract with the Massachusetts Office of Victim Assistance (MOVA). MJE’s role as a DTA work service site supports our efforts with women who are on welfare, suffering from personal trauma, and in need of assistance as they prepare to enter the workforce.
