Yet many mothers rise above these challenges with determination, grace, and unwavering love for their children and their communities.\nDuring this special celebration, five remarkable mothers will be honored with the MJE Courage and Conviction Award. This award recognizes women who have demonstrated extraordinary resilience, leadership, and commitment to their families and communities despite significant adversity.\nThese mothers represent the quiet strength that exists in neighborhoods across our city—women who continue to lead with love, courage, and determination even when the path forward is uncertain.\nAs expressed by MJE Founder and President & CEO Monalisa Smith:\n“You will never know true courage until it’s all you have.
