The Mothers of Courage and Conviction Awards

Inspiring Entrepreneurs
Too often, grassroots social entrepreneurs find themselves with innovative ideas but need more training and networking skills to move their ideas beyond the concept stage.
Our Dreams for the Future
Success requires holding history and dreams in the same moment. “Empowering Women to Action” supports those working in neighborhoods impacted by gun violence nationwide.Â
We believe that the change needed to end street violence must come from those of us whom that violence has touched. A mother who has lost a child to gun violence must continue supporting her other children. Repair and rebuilding challenges require compassion and clarity from service providers and case workers. The Alliance brings single voices together in a chorus that our political leaders will hear and be compelled to support our efforts.
